Vauen Auenland

Vauen Auenland Pipes

Vauen Auenland pipes are inspired by the "Lord of the Rings" world with names, shapes, and designs that relate to that world. Vauen once was the producer of the very first "Lord of the Rings" pipes, but the german maker lost the license in the early 2000's.

So you can see somehow the connection to J.R.R. Tolkiens work, but Vauen doesn't have the rights to name the pipes after figures of this work.

Auenland pipes are very popular anyway and make pipesmoking better known to those that like fantasy literature.

The Pipes are very well made, fitted for 9mm filters, and they do have a inner plastic tube to protect the shank made of beech wood and to clean them more easily. The small bits are made from acrylic and well rounded to give a better mouth feel.
