Guantanamera

Guantanamera is the first brand which was introduced to the market in the 21 Century, particularly at the "Inter-tabac" in Germany on the 14 th of september in 2002.

Our recommendation is the Cristales, a Parejo shape with a 41 ring gauge and 150 mm length. It offers genuine Cuban tobacco flavor for a good value. The cigar is finished in a durable plastic tube cut, which makes it an ideal traveling companion. The cristales are available, in a fancy tin filled with 25 cigars.
The Minuto is also precut and available in a Tube. With a ring gauge of 42 mm and 110 mm in length, it is ideal for occasions that offer little time to enjoy a cigar.

The Décimos and Puritos are proper for short smokes. Both are pre-cut and wrapped in cellophane.

About the brand Guantanamera

Guantanamera is the title of a famous song that was written and distributed by the Cubans Joseito Fernandez in 1928. In the 60’s the song reached international success, represented by Cuba worldwide.

In 2002 the Habanos Guantanamera brand was introduced to the international marke. It exists in five different formats and is complemented by a small cigar format, the Minis. Compared to other Habanos the Guantanamera is lighter but nevertheless unmistakable. The low price makes the Guantanamera a good way to get started in the world of Habanos. The cigars are made from tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region, the second most important tobacco-growing region of Cuba. All shapes are made in a modern factory in Havana 'mecanizado' - produced by machine.
