Humidor Cigars from places not cuban

Optically decent looking, wrapper, mediumbrown - a few ribs and coarse edges showing. Cold: wood, straw and hints of stable (manure). Hot: notes of Pepper, slight notes of wood, grass, leather and soil. In the 2nd quarter of the robusto, pepper mellows into the background and grass, leather and soil takes the lead, with an added hint of tea and the taste becomes more creamy. Draw is flawless, burn at times slightly uneven but not in any way troublesome. Ash is light grey, slightly flaky and semi-firm (15mm). The smoke lasted 75 mins. The experince is pleasant but not unforgetable. Price/value seems appropriate. February 16th 2014
