WTF!: Bestseller
WTF!: All items
WTF! – with hardly any other tobacco brand does the name provide such a fitting description of the first impression. When Arnold André launched the brand in 2020, the company had not simply developed yet another flavored cigarillo. Instead, the “Shisharillo” brought two worlds of enjoyment together: a cigarillo on the outside, with a flavor profile clearly inspired by the sweet and fruity aromas of the shisha scene. The long-established family business from Bünde, whose history dates back to 1817, had clearly struck a chord. Just a few months after the launch, demand was so high that it even led to temporary supply shortages.
WTF! Shisharillos Between Cigarillo and Shisha
The WTF! Shisharillo is by no means a pocket-sized hookah – technically, it remains much closer to a cigarillo. The machine-made shortfillers are approximately 70 millimeters long and a slim 7.4 millimeters in diameter. An Ecuador Shade wrapper forms the outer layer, complemented by a filter and added flavoring. The sweetened mouthpiece is particularly distinctive. It ensures that the respective flavor is clearly noticeable from the very first puff. Unlike a classic cigarillo, the tobacco is not meant to play the leading role here. Instead, it provides the stage on which apple, berries, vanilla or watermelon can dance around with carefree abandon.
That is precisely the idea behind the term “Shisharillo.” WTF! is aimed less at purists; the brand deliberately focuses on easily recognizable flavors and a straightforward, short smoking experience. A shisha needs to be prepared and set up. With a Shisharillo, all you need is a lighter. Even so, it should be treated like a cigarillo: the smoke is puffed rather than inhaled. Anyone who would like to know more can find the essential basics in our guide to smoking cigarillos properly. Anyone who normally smokes flavored cigarillos will feel at home much more quickly than someone expecting an actual miniature shisha.
From the outset, WTF! also wanted its language and image to have as little as possible to do with the venerable cigar room. Packaging in bright colors and a presentation that looks more like TikTok than a cigar lounge quite clearly target a younger audience. Yet behind it all is a manufacturer that has been producing cigars and cigarillos for more than two centuries. It is precisely this contrast that makes the brand interesting: WTF! is not a garage-born idea from a lifestyle start-up, but a decidedly unconventional project from Arnold André.
City Vibes: Seven WTF! Shisharillo Varieties
By now, even WTF! has grown up a little – or at least become more international. In September 2025, the brand said goodbye to most of its original slang names and introduced the so-called “City Vibes.” Cray became NYC, Lit is now Rio, Sheeesh turned into Vienna, Mois into Miami, Swag into Tokyo and Wyld into Berlin. Only Paris was Paris from the very beginning, as this variety was not introduced until August 2025. The reason for the renaming had less to do with a sudden passion for city breaks and more with a very practical realization: German youth slang is rather difficult to explain abroad. City names work considerably better from Sweden to Brazil. The recipes and flavors remained unchanged during the transition.
The current WTF! journey therefore consists of seven stops, all of which you can also find at Cigarworld: NYC stands for apple, Rio for dark berries and Vienna for vanilla. Miami brings watermelon into the mix, Tokyo cherry, while Berlin combines grape with a distinctly fresh note. Paris, meanwhile, opts for hazelnut. The range extends from distinctly fruity and cool to creamy and sweet.
WTF! Cigarillos With Distinctive Shisha Flavors
WTF! should therefore not be mistaken for a substitute for a classic premium cigarillo. The concept is far too distinctive for that. Anyone expecting bold natural tobacco and subtle roasted notes that develop gradually should look elsewhere. Shisharillos thrive on their flavoring, sweetened filter and uncomplicated construction. For fans of flavored cigarillos or pronounced shisha flavors, that may be exactly what makes them appealing. And at just 70 millimeters in length, this is not intended to be an all-evening affair. WTF! is more of a brief, intensely flavorful encounter in between.
