A wonderfully aromatic cigar. Consistently mild from start to finish, even inhaled. Nonetheless carries with it an interesting enough flavour palette, mainly with creamy, coffee notes. Occasional nutty and earthy notes keep it serious. If only they didn't cost so much.

An elegant looking cigar, but a rather complicated and unsatisfying one. Construction seemed good, but the draw was rather loose, which in a cigar of this size makes for a hot smoke. I was expecting (apropos of nothing) a mild cigar, but it turned out to be quite powerful: hot, nicotinous, and spicy. I would have written it off at this stage, were it not for surprising occasional flashes of cream, nuts, coffee, and dark chocolate amidst the otherwise peppery, earthy, woody flavours that dominate the cigar. If it was a bit longer, it might compare to a Por Larrañaga Montecarlo... but it's not, and it doesn't. Shame.

This is a wonderful small cigar. It somehow manages to capture the best aspects of a larger cigar (say a panetela or petit corona) and avoids the pitfalls of a lot of smaller cigars: the draw is even and smooth, the flavour is mild, the construction is excellent. The flavour profile likewise manages to be interesting, with wood and fruit beneath a creamy smoothness, and develops neither the intensity or harshness of some small cigars. A class act. (Plus, it's not *too* small!)
