I have had other variations of the vintage 99 but this was the first perfecto. Has a chocolate colored wrapper with a smooth and light feel. Cuts and lights easily. The burn performance till the end of the perfecto tip was not good but had to do a relight at the broad part and then it stayed lit. Puts out tonnes of smoke. The first third had a grassy note with some white pepper on the toungue. The pepper fell away with the grass staying with a sweet cream and toast that goes on through to the finish. Construction was perfect.

Another gem from Cusano. This is the first time I am smoking their Maduro. Dark chocolate oily wrapper with a mild sweet barnyard aroma. Cuts clean with a clean cold draw. Lights well putting out plumes of smoke like always in a Cusano. First starts with a mild leather with a slight pepper, this transitions to a wonderful chocolate and coffee in the mid third that carries to the last third with cream and soil creeping in at the last third. A good 60 min smoke and a definite addition to my repeat buy.

A very rustic looking wrapper (just like on the pic) that is almost crumbly even after sitting in the humidor! Easy even cut with a clean draw. Lights easily and holds the cherry well. White to grey ash that falls off in 1 cm bits, with good smoke output. Starts with notes of grass, wood and toast. This holds all the way to the end with notes of leather and dry earth in the middle third. Smoking time of 20 mins.

After a few weeks in the humidor, tried this stick for a pub night out. Was really happy I did that as the overall experience was fantastic. Dark brown wrapper with some tooth and a rough t texture. Easy cut and good cold draw. Lights easily and burns well through out. Initial notes start with pepper with faint cream, this transitions to a rich cream with loads of chocolate and coffee in the middle third. A hint of toast creeps into that final third. Good thick consistent smoke output with ash falling off in 1 inch chunks. Definite rebuy for my humidor!!

A brown wrapper with a mild sandpaper dry feel to it. Cuts and lights easily. Starts with some mild grass and wood notes that lasts in the first half. Leather and a mild nut creep in from the second half and lasts till the end. Greyish white ash drops off in small 0.5 cm chunks. Good smoke output but goes very hot and squishy about 1 inch from the end and had to stop. A normal middle of the road cigar that last for about 20-25 minutes.

A very rustic looking wrapper with a lot of tooth. A dark chocolate barnyard aroma on the wrapper. Easy to cut with a clean easy cold draw. Lights instantly even with my matches. First draw is a pepper bomb. Plenty of smoke with a clean even burn but the burn rate is quite fast. The pepper tempers down from the second third and remains so till the end. A grass and leather combination that starts end of the first third also last till the end. Grey ash that falls off in half inch chunks. A good Padron at this price point.
