Amazing taste, good looking and burning cigar. This is the second one for me and this one was very tight and therfore had not much smoke, but the taste was as good as I remembered. I hope Colon can keep up with it's merited expectations. I haven't smoke other Panamese puros before, but Colon has aroused my interest. It's always hard to describe a cigar with a list of culinary elements while smoking a leaf of one specific plant. So I'll compare the taste of what I already have smoked to create a road map for flavours in my memory. The taste that popped up in my head was that of the Saga Golden age limited, the taste of Yamasa, a round warm sweet Humuslike taste. It maybe strange to compare these to cigars because of there different origin, but you have to place it somewhere to remeber. The taste of this cigar is one of it's own, I put it on my map and it will stay there!

My last entery was a Corona by Domenico. The only difference is: "Meine Longfiller Bundels" is a little wider and larger with an shade Eqcuadorian wrapper. This budget cigar is very worthy for it's money and tastes as good as the Domenico. Even more so, the taste was nice from begin to the end, real Dominican aromatic profile. All together for 2,70 a great rustic Dominican Longfiller.

Start was ok with real soft sandy puro D.R. taste, dry but balanced, lovely. As if it where a shortfilller, a lot of smoke. For a moment I thought I was smoking a Balmoral Dominican, both cigars have very little cream. After a thirt it became bitter and stopt burning. The second third was a rollercoaster for the senses. It burned asemetric and halfway I quited, the taste wasn't pleasant anymore.. 7,90 Euro is to much for a longfiller. Of course I'll gif it a second change for we all have our bad mondays.

Astonishing fine cigar for 4,70 Euro. There was not very much smoke because of the draw wich was not extremely light. But light enough and the smoke was rich enough to enjoy this cigar. It has a very nice light delightful bouquet. The taste is creamy, walnut with a hint of wild foresthoney and a bit of toast in a compact harmony. This taste increased to the highets level in de middel, and remained there almost till the end.

Baron Ullm...., Ah, a nobelman's cigar, that could be something I thought. But when I saw the price I hesitated buying this cigar. Anyway tonight I smoked it. 6,90 for a Lancero, a bargain. Turned out the price was 16,00 Euro. Even then I would have buyed it for it's nobel promise. Athough I filled in the tastinglist it's not what a good smoke is about. We all know it is an experience of the senses, in firts place the taste. Now about this cigar, ..... it was an experience of the senses! What struk me was how the taste flourished eachtime in my mouth. Not a singular tatse that came in and got out but a bundle that opened up each pull. Maybe that's what people discribe as creme I don't know. The creamy character also had a floral flavour, a little sweetness and also savoury. The mixture of DR and NIC tabacco is very nice balanced and pleasing. All together it really was a delightfull long Lancero gentlefolkssmoke. Don't pull to hard on the Lanceros por favor, paciencia, este es un vitola delicado!
