The burn is generally good and straight, although it occasionally requires a touch-up. Smoke production is moderate. The flavor is characterized by notes of cocoa and roasted nuts, giving it a pleasant richness without becoming overpowering. It is better suited to mid-morning, lunchtime, or after lunch than as a first cigar of the day. It pairs very well with red wine. I do not recommend pairing it with whiskey or bourbon, as those spirits tend to bring out an unpleasant bitterness in the cigar, leaving a bitter finish on the palate. The Corona format makes it an easy, uncomplicated smoke that doesn't demand constant attention.
