Corleone
The name Corleone dates back to the small village in Sicily that gained worldwide fame through the famous novel "The Godfather" by Mario Puzo. Since then, Corleone has become synonymous with the Italian criminal organization Mafia, which is often associated with the prohibition era and the related alcohol smuggling in the United States in the early 20th century.
The Frenchman Alexandre Elami is the initiator of these cigars and wants to make a statement with the choice of name. He has been smoking cigars regularly for over thirty years and decided in 2017 to create his own series. For him, Corleone Cigars represents resistance against excessive and freedom-restricting regulations imposed by lawmakers or the executive. Therefore, enjoying a cigar from this brand is seen as an act of fighting for freedom and making the world a better place. Well, you can't do much nonsense while enjoying a cigar - it's a time for improving the world!
The filler of Corleone cigars consists of different tobaccos from Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. The binder and wrapper are grown in Ecuador. These treasures are manufactured in Costa Rica at the Tabacalera Vegas Santiago by Marc Niehaus. By the way, these products presented here have NOTHING to do with the products of Don Corleone - please do not confuse them!
In winter 2019/2020, the German importer discontinued the distribution of these cigars. We have secured the remaining stock with reduced retail prices and are selling them until supplies last.
