Fürst Bismarck

The idea behind this cigar is to honor the German statesman Otto von Bismarck, who was a lover of high-quality cigars. His great-great-grandson, Carl-Eduard von Bismarck, launched this series of cigars on the German market in 1997. "Calle" Bismarck has quite an intriguing life story if one delves into it. The fact that both of his ex-wives retained their noble names even after the divorce is the least exciting part of it all! The filler is a blend of Dominican tobaccos. A mild Seco from the middle priming and a stronger Ligero are blended with a small amount of Brazilian tobacco and some Connecticut Broadleaf. All components contribute to an intense individual flavor and a significant body.
As for the binder, a leaf from the Dominican Republic was used. The wrapper, on the other hand, was grown in the United States, more precisely in the state of Connecticut. It is silky-shiny, very finely veined, and very light in color. Before being processed, it is aged for at least seven days in aging rooms to ensure a consistent color and a more pronounced flavor.
Both the filler and binder underwent a maturation process of at least 18 and up to 24 months. The Fürst Bismarck cigars offer a very approachable and pleasantly mild character with a medium to full-bodied taste and a pronounced aroma. They are packaged traditionally in solid cedarwood boxes, allowing the fragrance of cedar to blend with the elegant tobacco aroma of the cigar. These cigars are imported by the Kohlhase & Kopp importing house and produced at the Tabacalera Garcia in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
