CIGARWORLD Staff Sampler: Tasting Packs by Niko

Niko is a native Greek from the Thessaloniki area and has been with us since 2003. It all started at a café on Grünstraße right next to the Kö Galerie, where we discussed his training contract. He successfully completed his apprenticeship as our third trainee and initially started working in our specialty store at the Kö Galerie. Since 2010, he has been one of the three "veterans" in the Cigarworld Lounge, enthusiastically and with great expertise advising aficionados from all over the world.

When it comes to favorite cigars, he doesn’t have a fixed preference, but there are many Habanos, Tatuajes, and Don Pepins in the mix! His recommendations tend to be on the stronger side and aimed at the more experienced smoker. Cigars are delivered as shown, in a black sliding box.

CIGARWORLD Staff Sampler: Cigar Sets by Frank

Frank, also known by some as “Fränkieh,” is a native of Cologne, now living in Düsseldorf, and has been with us since 2008. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the tobacco retail trade. He worked for several years at our shop in the Schadow Arkaden, where he also earned the nickname Brad Pitt. Since 2010, he has been one of the three "old hands" in the Cigarworld Lounge. With his expertise and his friendly, humorous, and distinctly Kölsch character, he’s a trusted advisor appreciated by many regular guests when it comes to cigars.

His personal favorites are also hard to pin down, but a large share consists of Habanos. The samplers he curates are all bold and full-bodied—definitely nothing for beginners or mild smokers. That makes his selections perfect gifts for the seasoned aficionado! The cigars are delivered as shown, in a black sliding box.
