Les Privatiers Gold Edition

The Cigars from Les Privatiers represent a piece of Baltic Sea luxury and enjoyment culture straight from Timmendorfer Strand. Whether you want to unwind after a long walk along the beach or relax during a laid-back afternoon in the spa park lounge – these cigars offer a distinctive smoking experience. This private label from our retail colleagues impresses with carefully composed fillers, hand-selected wrapper leaves, and a mild to full-bodied range of flavors that appeals to both beginners and experienced Aficionados. The Gold Edition cigars are rolled in Costa Rica using an H-2000 from Ecuador. Beneath it, a Besuki from Indonesia is used as the binder. The filler blend consists of a Nicaraguan Jalapa Criollo 98 along with tobacco from the Puriscal region in Costa Rica. Only in the Robusto Immenso is the tobacco from Puriscal replaced with a Dominican one.

The Makers and Their Cigar Lounge

Behind Les Privatiers are the founders Bert Flaig and Thomas Mueller, themselves passionate cigar enthusiasts. Their venue, the cigar lounge at Timmendorfer Strand, combines a relaxed atmosphere with expert advice. This is where the ideas for their private label are born, with production carried out exclusively at the renowned Tabacalera Brun del Re – a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship. Visitors on site experience not only the cigars but also a piece of northern German lifestyle culture. Both lines from Costa Rica—that is, the Silver and the Gold Edition—are both produced at Brun del Re Cigars.

The Cigar Lines: Not Only Blue Line and White Line

The Les Privatiers Portfolio initially included only the Blue Line and the White Line. Meanwhile, the Gold Edition presented here and the Silver Edition, as well as other limited lines, have been added. As we always make it our mission to carry all cigars available in Germany, we naturally asked our colleagues whether they would be interested in having their cigars listed with us. We are very happy to do so and wish both of them continued success!
