The wrapper is a high-quality Connecticut from Ecuador, while an Olor from the Dominican Republic was chosen as the binder. The filler consists of Dominican Piloto and Criollo 98 from Nicaragua. For the dark Robusto Maduro, a Mexican San Andrés is used as the wrapper, while the rest is identical to the other formats. The La Palma tobacco manufactory of Jose “Jochi” Blanco is responsible for production. In February 2026, we had the pleasure of visiting the new tabacalera in the Zona Franca in Tamboril, near the city of Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic.
