The “Orgasmo” is a cigar limited to 500 boxes, part of the Carlos & Maria series by the Freud Cigar Company – and from the very first draw, it sets itself apart. Produced at Tabacalera El Maestro in the Dominican Republic, it relies on a layered tobacco blend and meticulous craftsmanship. What appears on the outside as a glossy, oily promise develops during the smoke into a cigar with a creamy texture, balanced strength, and noticeable depth.
Limited Edition With Character
Behind the Freud Cigar Company are David Stadnyk and Luis Torres, the latter known for his leadership at Casa de Montecristo in the U.S. With the Cigars by Carlos & Maria, the brand deliberately opts for understated branding. You won’t find any brand references on the box. This restraint contrasts with the intense wealth of aromas that the Orgasmo releases—a striking contrast that sparks curiosity.
Orgasmo: Intensity Without Exaggeration
The tobacco blend: an Ecuadorian wrapper, a Sumatran binder from Indonesia, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The result is an elegant cigar, not overly strong, with a surprisingly complex progression. The Carlos & Maria Orgasmo, with its imposing 6x60 format, remains smooth throughout—even into the final third. A rare format that never panders, yet leaves a lasting impression.
