Casa 1910 Cigars: Completely Underrated!
We’ve mentioned it multiple times, and we’ll reiterate it for Casa 1910: Mexican cigars simply don’t get the attention they deserve. High-quality longfillers aren’t just produced by major brands like Santa Clara or A. Turrent, but also by smaller labels.
The Year of the Revolution
One such label is Casa 1910. The year refers to the Mexican Revolution, when the people rose against the long-standing rule of President Porfirio Díaz.

This date, deeply ingrained in the country’s collective memory, triggered a series of events that ultimately led to civil war. After a period of turmoil, the country stabilized, and Mexico began its long journey to the present day. We’ll spare the details here – delving into Latin American politics can quickly turn into a seminar on socialist theory…
Mexican Cigars by Casa 1910
Behind Casa 1910 is Juan Manuel Santiago Casillas, also known as Manolo Santiago. Formerly involved in distribution for Habanos in Mexico, he now applies his expertise to crafting his own Mexican puros. Where exactly in the country they are rolled remains his secret.

The cigars undergo a special aging process, which gives them their harmonious character. The San Andrés wrapper, in particular, is exceptionally well-crafted. While they may not be inexpensive, they leave no room for disappointment in terms of quality!
