Casa Culinaria Cigars: Black Forest Meets Central America
The origins of Casa Culinaria cigars trace back to Baden, as they are crafted by Paul Bugge in Villingen-Schwenningen. However, the South Baden house’s exclusive brand is produced entirely in Nicaragua.
Locally Grown
These are reliable mediumfillers, available at affordable bundle prices. They use quality tobaccos, primarily sourced from local farms.
Initially, the different series carried color-based names, but this naming scheme was eventually abandoned. Today, the cigars are named after the origins of their tobaccos or their production location.
The Casa Culinaria Portfolio
The Casa Culinaria Connecticut line is the successor to the Orange series. Although Nicaraguan tobaccos have replaced those from the Dominican Republic in the filler, the flavor has changed little. A Connecticut wrapper from the U.S. still envelops the cigar, making it the mildest in the entire range.
Its sibling, the Casa Culinaria Jalapa, features medium strength and is named after the region where most of its tobaccos are grown. Finally, the most robust series is the Casa Culinaria Esteli. Continuing the tradition of the Red Fort, it is unquestionably the boldest offering in the Casa Culinaria family.
