This was the first "Kanaren" I ever smoked. What a surprise!! Excellent quality vs. a more than reasonable price. A good friend of mine is going for his holidays to the Canary Islands next month. He still owns me a favour...No doubt about what I'm going to ask him....

Well-known Dutch brand. I can buy most of their cigars just around the corner but their Maduro Serie is harder to get. This is one of my favorites. I smoked a lot of them during the long, hot Summer of 2003 sitting under a shady tree in the woods. Looks good, smells good with a vague touch of dark Belgian chocolate.

I ordered 3 of these cigars a few months ago and was very pleased with them. Mild, aromatic, tasty... The next thing I did was to order a box of them. I was a bit dissapointed: not the same quality as the first three I smoked.

It was a real pleasure to smoke this Figurado!! Two out of ten had a somewhat difficult draw. Complex taste with a touch of the best dark Belgian Chocolate. I have a special corner for them in my humidor..!

Something special and I like it... Not comparable to other cigars. Intense experience which takes my mind off the things of the day. Not an everyday smoke but at least once a week I have my "dirty" half of an hour...:-) A bit high-priced; Euro 3,50 would be more reasonable...

The first one I smoked was of high quality so I ordered a box of 25. What a dissapointment. Bitter, almost unsmokable cigars; had to light them at least three times. After trying 8 of them a threw away the rest of the box...
