Bonsai Pipes

In the southern part of the german federal country Brandenburg lives Tobias Höse, his friends call him "Hoesy", with his Bonsai garden. His garden lights up in autumn when the tree miniatures turning red, yellow, or orange.

To cultivate bonsai trees inspired Hoesy to smoke pipes, and to make pipes on his own.

Patience and passion are the two attributes that connects this two worlds very well.

But Tobias has not been known for a long time as a pipemaker, yet. It took only short time to develop a extraordinary craftmans level and his own signature in pipes.

It began on the internet, more precisely in social media, to make his pipes popular with many pipesmokers. Meanwhile a real "fanbase" has grown that swear by his pipes and skills.

Hoesy only uses the best briar available and crafts his pipes only by hand. The mouthpieces are hand cut as well, with and without filter. Whatever the customer likes more.

To understand the maker a little bit more, we have to mention that he is passionate musician as well. Hard guitar sounds are also part of his inspiration.
