Frank Axmacher pipes

Frank Axmacher is one of the most sought-after and celebrated pipe makers in Germany.

He is a trained stonemason and wood sculptor, certainly two professions that are quite useful when you start building pipes like he did in the late 1990s.

Frank Axmacher learnt his trade from real greats. Bertram Safferling, Rainer Barbi and Tom Eltang are his masters.

This clearly leaves its mark. The artistic component plays an important role in his pipes.

His pipes are characterised by aesthetic, elegant shapes, bold forms and finely crafted details. The mouthpieces are among the best and flattest we have ever seen.

After a few years of creative pause, we are pleased and happy to have Frank Axmacher's pipes in our range.
