Jurgen Moritz Freehand

Although Juergen Moritz has been working as a pipe maker since 2003, many still consider him to be "young and aspiring". The born west- german started smoking a pipe at the tender age of 13. A passion that accompanied him throughout his life.

So it was at the beginning of the 2000s that he decided to go from being a pipe collector (and he really has some great top-class ones) to becoming a pipe maker.

A lot has happened since then, Jürgen Moritz has developed his own style, which is strongly influenced by Danish classics. Older names like Günther Kittner, Bang or newer names like Cornelius Mänz have also shaped him.

His freehand pipes are characterized above all by very good workmanship and a well-made mouthpiece. He has developed a great talent for sandblasting pipes and thus teasing out a lot of character from the wood. Juergen Moritz's pipes are very inexpensive for the level of production that is offered.

All pipes with ebonite mouthpiece. Sometimes with, sometimes without a filter.
