The Sicilian pipe maker Mimmo Provenzano is renowned for his clear design language and meticulous craftsmanship. In his workshop in Catania, he creates pipes that deliberately dispense with unnecessary ornamentation, placing the emphasis instead on simplicity and functionality. Provenzano works exclusively with carefully selected briar wood, which he shapes into compact, harmonious models with a keen sense of proportion and the natural aesthetics of the material.
