Dunhill Pipes Bruyere

The Bruyere finish was the very first Dunhill finish ever. All Dunhill pipes made between 1910 and 1917 had this finish.

Until the 1950s there were only three finishes: briar, shell briar and root briar.

It is a deep, reddish brown that is applied quite elaborately. First, the pipe is stained dark brown, then lightly sanded again, and then two layers of reddish stain are applied.

All pipes have a black ebonite mouthpiece.

So it is no wonder that Dunhill Bruyere are the most popular smooth pipes in the portfolio of the traditional English manufacturer.

Here you will find all the classics that have significantly shaped the pipe world.

If you don't already have a Dunhill Bruyere, now is the time.
