Dunhill Pipes Tanshell

The Tanshell finish was introduced back in 1952, but it is still one of the rarest surface variants on Dunhill "The White Spot" pipes.

There is one main reason for this: Wood quality. In order for a sandblasted pipe to have a light, almost "natural finish", two requirements must be met: The surface must be absolutely flawless, and this even after the sandblasting blower has already acted on the surface. In addition, the grain has to be quite expressive, otherwise the relief will be too flat.

So naturally the selection of the appropriate pipe bowls is extremely critical.

Only a small double-digit number of tanshell pipes leave the factory in London each year.

So take advantage of it while the opportunity arises.
