Ser Jacopo Pipes
Who's speaking of Italian pipes without mentioning Ser Jacopo has definitely missed out something. The brand from Pesaro which was founded by Giancarlo Giuidi had a big impact on the good reputation that Italian handmade pipes have nowadays.
The founder is sadly passed away in 2012, but his former employees continue to make pipes in his spirit. His typical, baroque style has passed down many years. Experiments with colours and surfaces are made, but most of the pipes are classically smooth, sandblasted, or rustificated.
Silver decorations, sometimes pretty complicated, are often present on Ser Jacopos.
Shown examples are quite extraordinary, because they are restrained and elegant. They are not too big, sometimes fragile, and offer space for 9mm filters.
Keep in mind that all Ser Jacopos are unique pieces and only available once.
