When a pipesmoker thinks of Stanwell pipes, surely a Royal Guard pipe appears in front of the inner eye. The classic, Danish shapes have influenced generations of pipesmokers.
Well popular classics, just as the flat No.11 or the unique shape No.15, are widely known. Nearly every pipesmoker has one Royal Guard in his collection.
This success did not happen by accident but because all those iconic shapes were designed by very well known pipe masters as Sixten Ivarsson, Tom Eltang, Anne Julie, Emil Chonowitch, and Poul Winslow. Just to name a few.
Although, Stanwell pipes are no langer made in Denmark, they still have the aura of Scandinavic, functional design.
