Tsuge Cats Eye

It was in the 1970s when six pipe makers from Tsuge were sent to Denmark to learn about the Danish way of making pipes. They learned from none other than Sixten Ivarsson. When they returned it became clear that the time in Denmark had left a lasting mark.

This is also evident with the Tsuge Cats Eye. The harmonious, flowing shape, combined with precisely ground edges and perfect symmetry, clearly speaks the language of the "old masters".

Why this series is called "Cats Eye" becomes clear when you look at the oval pipe shank from behind.

Two wonderfully hand-flattering shapes, grippy but elegant, each in sandblasted or smoothly polished, as well as with an acrylic mouthpiece for 9mm filters.
