Pipes with meerschaum inserts are not very common these days. It has become so rare, in fact, that the manufacturer has now come up with a replacement product. The new insert is called ‘Vauen Lining’ and is made of silicate. It is also very absorbent and extremely fireproof.
Therefore, the Vauen Maris are also a special recommendation for pipe smokers with "heat problems" as well as those who like to smoke their pipes while walking.
The red-brown pipe bowl made of briar is expressively contrasted by a white acrylic mouthpiece with a 9mm drilling.
