T. Sonthi was founded in 2020 by Thomas Sontheimer. His goal: to create rum that not only convinces with its taste but also excites from the moment it’s opened. The rums from T. T. Sonthi Barbados: 10 Years of Barrel Aging
The T. Sonthi Barbados rum matures for a full 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak. This long aging process imparts a balanced blend of spice and harmonious aromas. The typical vanilla notes of the bourbon barrels combine with toffee and nut aromas, creating a soft yet complex taste experience – ideal for connoisseurs who value quality.
T. Sonthi Panama: Up to 12 Years Aged Rum
The T. Sonthi Panama combines rum varieties that age up to 12 years in bourbon and PX sherry casks. This gives it its characteristic fruity sweetness and smooth texture. The combination of column still and pot still distillation creates a complex flavor profile. The marriage of different vintages from Panama and Jamaica creates a harmonious, dark golden blend with deep aromas – perfect for aficionados who appreciate complex and aged rums.
