Gladora Pesse Canoe

Gladora Tobacco from Turkey is a newcomer on the European market. Until now, the brand was mainly known in Asian countries.

The company has been active on the Turkish market for a long time and is part of the Turkish tobacco monopoly.

The three flake tobaccos that come onto the market under the "Pesse Canoe" label are really something special and are absolutely unique in terms of cultivation, production and flavour.

All raw tobaccos are produced in Turkey. The Virginia comes from the region around Adiyaman, the incredibly aromatic Oriental tobacco comes from Yaydalagi and Bitlis. The Latakia is produced locally, with the leaves coming from Izmir.

The Latakia used here is not comparable with currently available varieties from other manufacturers. Although it is smoky, it has an elegant, fruity, earthy flavour reminiscent of blends from days gone by.

The Orient also plays a prominent role that goes far beyond the usual Maas. It is not just a supporting actor in the blends, but the protagonist.
