Ilsted's Own Pipe Tobacco
The Ilstedt pipe tobaccos are among the longest-established brands from Kohlhase & Kopp. They combine the highest quality blends from the English as well as the Danish direction, but never drift into "sugar sweetness" or artificiality.
Cedros" in particular is worth a try. Its cedar-like aroma should also make cigar lovers sit up and take notice.
By the way, the name giver of this tobacco series is Poul Ilstedt, famous Danish pipe maker and unfortunately deceased in 2017. He had been active in this profession since the end of the 1960s and was also called the "Master of the Facet". He reinterpreted Bulldog and Rhodesian shapes, giving them a Danish lightness that the strict models lacked.
Ilstedt pipes are nowadays sought-after and highly priced collector's items.
