Robert Lewis pipe tobacco

What do these tobaccos have in common with Winston Churchill? That is quickly answered: they were originally sold exclusively in the beautiful old shop in London where Winston Churchill bought his cigars until 1964: Robert Lewis' shop.
Christopher Lewis founded his shop in 1787 and was supported a little later by his cousin and namesake Robert Lewis. It wasn't until 1992 that the shop was sold to James J. Fox, who still runs it in London today.
With so much British history, it is not surprising that these blends are a real gem for friends of the English tobacco direction. Oriental, Latakia and Virginia clearly play the main role here in different recipes and dosages.
