Manil Valroy Semois

Do you know Semois? No? Then it's about time! Semois is a tobacco variety that is grown "on our doorstep", in the Belgian Ardennes. It originally comes from American Burley seeds, but since the tobacco has now been grown in the misty valleys along the river of the same name since the 19th century, it has developed a very distinctive character. It is exceedingly spicy, earthy and strong - and in terms of taste it can hardly be compared with anything else in the cigar world.

The cigarillos are made by Vincent Manil, who runs a small manufactory with an attached museum. They have a filler made from 100% Semois tobaccos and a binder and wrapper from Sumatra. No HTL is processed, all natural tobacco. The production is purely mechanical - on century-old machines. The result is classic shortfillers that draw and burn wonderfully. But rest assured, they are true flavour bombs!

By the way, Manil Valory Semois cigarillos feel most at home in average Central European room climate conditions. So you don't need a humidor.
