Interesting facts about the brand:
The company Kleinlagel & Sons was founded in 1916 in Rettigheim/Baden by August and his son Karl Kleinlagel.
For generations, the first male offspring has been given a first name starting with "K" to preserve the tobacco brand trademark "KK".
In 1917, Karl Kleinlagel relocated the production to Untergrombach. In 1941, he acquired the current factory buildings in the neighboring town of Obergrombach, where they moved in 1946 after the war. At that time, Kurt Kleinlagel, the son of Karl, became a partner in Kleinlagel oHG.
After the death of Karl Kleinlagel in 1959, he ran the company alone. In 1964, a new machine hall was built, and in 1972, a new shipping hall was added.
In 1983, Kurt Kleinlagel handed over the company to his son Kurt-Jürgen. Sadly, Kurt Kleinlagel passed away the same year. Since 2000, Kurt-Jürgen has been supported by the youngest KK, Klaus-Jürgen.
