Don Javier Mendoza Cigars

These cigars found their (official) way to Germany through the guys from La Bavaria. This small company from Landshut distributes its "house brand" La Bavaria in Landshut through its own shop and through affiliated retailers throughout Germany. They source their cigars from the same factory in Costa Rica. So it made sense to eventually offer the supplier's "house blend," didn't it?

Initially, the Toro was offered with a length of 6 inches and a ring gauge of 54. Then three additional formats followed: a Belicoso, a Corona, and a Gordito. The wrapper and binder come from Nicaragua. In the filler, you'll find local tobacco from Costa Rica as well as Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco. The blend is intentionally robust and full-bodied, targeting the more experienced and discerning aficionado.
