This cigar series certainly stands out thanks to its highly unusual and eye-catching design. The creators of Kaneda Cigars describe the Italian city of Bologna in Emilia-Romagna as the birthplace of the stylish cigar brand. According to official statements, one of the two founders has decades of experience in the cigar industry, while the other has a background primarily in architecture and design.

Kaneda Cigars: Beginner-Friendly Masterpieces from Costa Rica

All cigars are produced in Costa Rica using Central American tobaccos. In addition to applications of gold and silver foil in a wide variety of designs, the exceptionally unusual and extremely elaborate boxes are particularly striking. Aside perhaps from El Septimo Cigars and a few limited special editions from Davidoff Cigars or Habanos, we are not aware of any comparably extravagant boxes.

With prices starting at well over €10 per cigar, the circle of enthusiasts for this brand will certainly remain limited. Nevertheless, it is an exciting project, which is why we naturally offer all vitolas from this brand as well. Since January 2023, we have been the exclusive importer of this brand, allowing us to continue offering the most comprehensive range on this side of the Rio Grande… ;-)
