Dannemann Cigarren
In 1872, company founder Geraldo Dannemann emigrated from Germany to Brazil to devote himself to his great passion: tobacco. To this day, Dannemann tobacco is grown in the Mata Fina region, and in the founding house in São Félix in the state of Bahia, fine ARTIST LINE cigars were hand-rolled for many years.
Dannemann Cigars: A Journey from Brazil to Germany in Every Draw
To this day, Dannemann stands for uncompromising quality thinking—from sowing to the finished cigar. Guided by the principle “Smiling consumers, loyal to our brands on all continents,” the former manufactory has developed into an international company. The formerly available and very popular Coronel is no longer produced; currently, only the 5-packs of the 60 in Sumatra and Brasil are available.
Quality-Conscious Cigar Culture: The World of Dannemann Cigars
The slim Collofino is a Corona format and is offered ready to smoke with a cut foot. Both varieties have a full-bodied bouquet and, with a length of 13.1 centimeters and a diameter of 1.42 centimeters, are a welcome companion. The filler blend consists of tobaccos from Brazil and Sumatra, completed with a homogenized wrapper. The cigars are currently available only in packs of 5.
The slightly longer Coronel was also a Corona format, with a length of 14.8 centimeters and a diameter of 14.1 millimeters, and was offered exclusively in a 50-count cardboard box. This larger format has since fallen victim to discontinuation. You can find an overview of all Dannemann cigars here! The best known are certainly the flavored Moods Zigarillos from Dannemann.
