Meine Cigars
Since 1922, the ERMURI Genuss Company eG from Detmold has served as a reliable purchasing cooperative for tobacco products – today operating nationwide with around 1,000 member businesses. Whether cigars, cigarillos, pipe tobacco, or smoking accessories: the private-label collection includes various series such as the handmade Meine Longfiller, known for solid quality and fair prices. Typically, Ermuri’s members are smaller, local retailers, as they can source their entire range from a single supplier. This aspect was less relevant for us; we joined Ermuri in order to offer these private labels to our customers as well. True to our motto: “The cigars we don’t carry don’t exist in Germany.”
Production – Solid Expertise From STG
The tax numbers and warning labels make it clear: the machine-made cigars presented here are produced by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) – one of the largest cigar manufacturers worldwide. STG is responsible for numerous well-known brands such as Macanudo, CAO, and since 2023 also Alec Bradley. The acquisition of Alec Bradley has further strengthened STG’s position as a global market leader.
Blend and Variants – Central America Meets Indonesia
The cigars offered here are machine-made and combine tobaccos from Central America and Indonesia. Two variants are generally available: one with a Sumatra wrapper and one with a Brasil wrapper. The overall character remains similar, but the wrapper adds a distinct accent to each version. In keeping with Ermuri tradition, these are attractively priced cigars, ideal for a short break in between.
Conclusion
Ermuri cigars – quality à la Ermuri, produced by STG. A clear choice for anyone looking for straightforward cigars with a reliable provenance.
