Woermann Cigars Seaman 100% Tobacco

The company Woermann Cigars, located in Roedinghausen between Bielefeld and Osnabrück, has existed since 1890. Since then, tobacco has been processed and crafted into delicious cigars and cigarillos in numerous generations of the family. The in-house production, alongside the import of Caribbean long fillers, still holds a very high value within the company.

The cigars presented in this category have all been named after great sea explorers. Each cigar is available with both a Sumatra wrapper and a Brasil wrapper. All products are made of 100% tobacco and therefore do not contain any paper or glue, which can occasionally be found in cheap cigars. The filler consists of Dominican Piloto and Olor, Java, and Brasil. The binder is an Indonesian Java leaf.

The number used in the "type designation" goes back to the original price in German Marks. For example, the "80er" was once an 80-pfennig cigar and thus the most affordable in the entire line. Therefore, the principle still applies here: the higher the number, the higher the quality of the tobacco and wrappers used.
