Culture Maduro
The filler and binder are grown in the Dominican Republic. Different strength tobaccos, such as the mild Olor Dominicano or the stronger Ligero Dominicano, are blended in the filler to create a round, harmonious, and medium-bodied premium cigar. For the wrapper, a labor-intensive and therefore costly, silky-shiny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper is used.
These Maduros complement the highly popular light Culture Dominican series. In September 2014, the stronger Culture Aniversario from Nicaragua was added as the final addition to the brand family.
The entire concept of Culture cigars is accompanied by the more affordable cigars of the Casa Culinaria series, which are also distributed as house brands by the importer Paul Bugge from Villingen-Schwenningen. This import house is led by Daniel Höldke and his father, who, in addition to distribution, also operate the Paul Bugge cigar specialty store in the same location.
