Diamond Crown Julius Caeser

The story behind this cigar is a bit longer, and it begins with the name of the company's patron. He immigrated from Hungary in the last century and adopted the name "Julius Caesar," which still stands for the "JC" in J.C. Newman, one of the major players in the US cigar industry. This series was introduced to the market in 2009 and was initially exclusively available in the Diamond Crown Lounges in the USA, celebrating both the 135th birthday of the company's founder and the 115th anniversary of the company.

This super-premium line is rolled at the Arturo Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic. The wrapper comes from Ecuador, and the rest of the blend remains officially a big secret. Due to the minimum 5-year aging of all the tobaccos used, it results in a very rich and intense smoke. The flavor and aroma profile noticeably change throughout the three thirds of the cigar.

The Newmans have other, much more well-known cigar brands in their lineup, including the highly successful Brick House, with the best-selling Mighty Mighty Maduro being particularly popular. Additionally, they offer the Cuesta Rey cigars and the El Baton from the same house, among others.
