Erez UNSMOKABLE Box-Pressed
Erez cigars are relatively new to the market. Initially launched in the late 2000s on the North American continent, they have been available in Germany since 2012. All of them are Dominican "tabacos," meaning all vitolas are manufactured in the Dominican Republic by Augusto Reyes. Yaniv Erez, the founder and owner of the brand, is, in a positive sense, a "madman" who entered the cigar business after his time in the US Navy with the desire to create his ideal cigar.
The name of the series "Unsmokable" is certainly meant ironically - the cigars are actually very smokeable. Both variants only differ in the wrapper used: one has a Dominican Sun Grown wrapper, and the other has a Brazilian Bahia wrapper. Both are 6x60 in size, with a diameter of 2.38 centimeters and a total length of 15.24 centimeters.
They are packaged in elaborate 20-count wooden boxes, very similar to the Factory Press by La Flor Dominicana. Each of the 2-unit 10-count layers is almost like a grid that holds the cigars securely.
