Ferruh Karakasli Cigars

The namesake of these cigars is Ferruh Karakasli, a Turkish fashion designer who claims to have been "born dressed." Whether this was indeed the case in Istanbul in 1967 is up for debate, but he is undoubtedly a successful couturier who dresses Europe's wealthy and beautiful and is revered like a VIP celebrity in Turkey.
His cigars are a collaboration with our fellow dealer, Dalay, from Saarbrücken. Salih was also born in Turkey, so he undoubtedly has a special connection to Ferruh. According to the label on the box, the three vitolas are manufactured at Tabacalera Zauberberg in the Dominican Republic. The filler is a rich blend of Nicaraguan and Brazilian tobaccos. An Indonesian Sumatra leaf is used as the binder, and a dark Mexican San Andres leaf serves as the wrapper.
