Kafie 1901 San Andres
The Kafie 1901 San Andrés Cigars represent a harmonious blend of Honduran passion and Mexican character. This line is aimed at seasoned aficionados who appreciate a full-bodied, aromatically complex smoke with earthy and sweet-spicy notes. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper lends these cigars a distinctive depth, while the Nicaraguan blend from the Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa regions provides balance and finesse – a moment of enjoyment that’s perfect for the evening or special occasions.
From Honduran Heritage to Dominican Precision
The Kafie 1901 brand is deeply rooted in the family history of Dr. Gaby Kafie, who turned his passion for cigars into reality in 2013. Originally founded in Honduras, production found a new home in 2021 at the renowned Tabacalera La Aurora in the Dominican Republic. This collaboration ensures the high quality standards for which the brand is now recognized worldwide – traditional craftsmanship refined by the expertise of the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. Currently, three lines under the name Kafie 1901 Cigars are rolled at La Aurora for the global market. In Germany, the cigars are distributed by traditional importer Don Stefano.
Characterful San Andrés Cigars for Discerning Connoisseurs
The Kafie 1901 San Andrés are bold yet finely balanced longfillers with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and a hint of pepper. The combination of Mexican wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a filler of Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa tobaccos creates a dense, creamy smoke with a long, aromatic finish. Whether as Robusto, Toro, or Belicoso – each vitola impresses with flawless craftsmanship and a distinctive flavor worthy of the Kafie 1901 name. A must for lovers of full-bodied Cigars from the Dominican Republic with an authentic profile.
