La Palina Red Label

The cigars from La Palina have been one of the "hot" cigar brands in the USA for several years. Since 2013, we have been directly importing some series from the factory, as La Palina was not imported by any of the major distributors in Germany. The Red Series is the fifth series that we added to our lineup in December 2015.
A Sun Grown wrapper from Ecuador is used, and the binder also comes from there. The filler is a mild blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigars are produced by Abe Flores at his PDR Cigars factory in Tamboril. Abe is also responsible for the La Palina Black Label cigars, which we have been offering in our online shop since 2014.
In terms of taste, the Red Label cigars entice with a lot of flavor without being too strong. Throughout the smoking experience, none of the four different formats becomes more than medium-bodied. Overall, they are lightly creamy and additionally captivate with a delicate sweetness. The vitolas are the same as those of the "black" sister series. Here you can find an overview of all the La Palina cigars we carry.
The founder and owner, William "Bill" Paley, is the grandson of Samuel Paley, who introduced this cigar brand to the market over 100 years ago. At IPCPR 2015 in New Orleans, there was quite a buzz at the booth when it was announced that Hirochi Robaina, the nephew of the Cuban cigar legend Alejandro Robaina, would soon be joining La Palina.
