Personales Cigars

These mild long-filler cigars from the Dominican Republic are manufactured at Charles Fairmorn's factory (Tabacalera). The previous name "Particulares" was reminiscent of a very old, traditional brand from Cuba that is no longer produced. To distance itself from that association, the brand was renamed "Personales" in the late 2000s and given new, upgraded cigar bands.

The delicate spiciness, slight nutty sweetness, and good craftsmanship have garnered a loyal following for this series. Fine, flavorful cigars that are well-constructed are rare to find at this price! Additionally, they are beautifully packaged in 25-count cedarwood boxes with sliding lids. The filler blend and binder consist of Dominican tobaccos, and a light Connecticut Shade leaf was chosen as the wrapper.

In July 2012, the significantly stronger "Personales Ligero" was introduced, targeting enthusiasts of bolder cigars. The producing Tabacalera Charles Fairmorn currently manufactures sought-after brands such as Epic Cigars and those by Glen Case, like Kristoff Cigars.

The German importer, Kleinlagel from Bruchsal, decided in the summer of 2016 to completely discontinue this series. Only the "Personales Ligero Corojo" will be continued.
