Quesada Oktoberfest

Raquel and Patricia have once again done an excellent job: during their travels through Europe, they also visited Munich and attended the Oktoberfest. Afterward, the daughters of Master Blender Manuel Quesada came up with the idea to create a suitable cigar for this event and its prevailing beer enjoyment.

The Quesada Oktoberfest series is crafted with very dark and oily wrappers from the Cibao Valley. Despite its dark color, it is NOT a Maduro! Both the binder and filler (filling) are also from the Dominican Republic - making it a Dominican Puro. The cigar has a medium body that complements a refreshing beer, preferably one from Bavaria.

At the IPCPR in August 2012 in Orlando, I asked the two ladies why the colors of the German flag on the cigar ring are arranged incorrectly. They told me they deliberately did so to avoid being sued. The names were thought up by a member of the Quesada family and were meant to sound somehow German - well...

In short, Das Boot, The Über, and Bavarian are globally limited to 500 boxes, while Kaiser Ludwig is limited to 250.
