Santa Damiana Seleccion Especial

Originally, this addition was introduced to the classic series in 2005. All the tobaccos used are aged for at least 3 years in the carefully controlled warehouses of Tabacalera de Garcia (La Romana). They are fully handcrafted long-fillers produced in five formats: Churchill, Robusto, Torpedo, Corona, and Panetela. The filler consists of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, the binder is a Dominican Olor, and the wrapper is a Nicaraguan H-2000 leaf.

Smooth, woody, earthy - these are attributes that come to mind with the Seleccion Especial. It is significantly more full-bodied than the regular series and is a worthy successor to the discontinued blue H-2000 series. Even this variant, the Santa Damiana Seleccion Especial cigars in the 10-count box, was put on the chopping block in 2014 and is now only available while supplies last.
