Vallejuelo Cigars Clasic
These Vallejuelo cigars are manufactured in the Dominican Republic by the producer Intercigar S.A. One of the three co-owners is the well-known Dutchman Maurice Koks, who also manufactures the Antonius brand, among others, which many aficionados are familiar with.
Currently, this brand is available in Germany in only 2 different formats: as Robusto Gordo measuring 5x54 and as Gran Toro measuring 6x54. The wrapper is a Sun Grown from Ecuador, and the binder comes from the Dominican Republic. The filler tobaccos are sourced from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
The cold draw presents itself aromatic and promising with floral notes and a bit of sweetness. In terms of taste, the Vallejuelos start in the first third with intense toasty flavors that dissipate rather quickly. Overall, the cigar remains very mild and rather unobtrusive. It lacks great complexity but is very pleasant as a "casual" cigar.
