Saint Luis Rey Edición Regional

During the Habanos Day 2014, German aficionados had the rare opportunity to discover two exclusive Edición Regionales from other parts of the world – including the coveted Saint Luis Rey Pacificos. This format, originally produced in 2009 as a regional special edition for the Asia-Pacific market, reached Germany in very limited quantities and was allocated to selected Casas del Habano. This made it a special rarity for German collectors and lovers of Cuban cigars.

Edición Regional Cigars from Saint Luis Rey

A total of 4,000 boxes of 25 cigars each were produced of the Saint Luis Rey Pacificos at that time – a strict limitation that makes this Geniales-format longfiller (ring gauge 54, length 150 mm) a sought-after collector’s cigar. The Pacificos impresses with its typically bold tobacco blend, characteristic of Saint Luis Rey. Earthy and woody notes are combined with hints of leather and spices, while a subtle sweetness of honey or cocoa lingers in the background.

In 2025, the Saint Luis Rey Belicosos were introduced retrospectively. These Cuban cigars are the first from the Saint Luis Rey brand to be crafted exclusively for the German market. The Campana format enjoys legendary status among aficionados and is renowned for classics like the Bolívar Belicosos Finos.
