El Rey del Mundo Cigars

El Rey del Mundo exists since the late 19th Century. The cigars are characterized by a unique, distinctive taste in combination with a delicate sweetness and a high finesse.

Our recommendation for getting into the brand is the Choix Supreme. It is an outstanding Robusto (ring gauge 48, length 127 mm), which knows how to impress with the typical delicate sweetness and an abundance of aromas such as cocoa and coffee at any time. The Choix Supreme is now only available in the habilitated box of 25 pieces, the packing in the 50s Cabinet has unfortunately been discontinued in 2010.

A very special little cigar is the Demi Tasse. With ring gauge of 30 and a length of 100 mm, it is an ideal aperitif cigar, ideally with a glass of champagne. The Small Panetela is very mild but packed with flavor. The Petit Corona is also a very pleasant cigar that is suitable for any time of day. Unfortunately, the production of the Mareva format (ring gauge 42, length 129 mm) was set in 2012, so it is only available while stocks last.

In 1882 Antonio Allones named his new brand “The king of the world”. From the beginning he was anxious to place them as a top product. Only the best tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region were used for the production of his cigars. The success proved him right, the mild to moderately strong cigars of the brand are still very popular. In the 40s and 50s of the 20th Century, they were considered the most expensive cigars in the world. The luxury brand has been recognized by Zino Davidoff with a particular recommendation, he recommended it as an essential part of a good cigar Collection.
